Research Justice Shop SPOTLIGHT

November 8, 2021 by Research Justice Shop

2021 RJS fellows Chengyuan Huang (she/her), third-year PhD student in the Drama department and Veronica Valencia Gonzalez (they/she), fifth year doctoral student in Social Ecology PhD. They worked on the COVID-19 Narrative Project, which is a pilot study that captured essential workers’ stories and experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. As their final product, Chengyuan and Veronica created four infographics highlighting different themes (COVID-19 messaging problems, adapting, suggestions, and examples of essential worker excellence) that came up in conversation with essential workers. They shared the infographics with participants in the study as they developed them in order to inform the presentation of the findings.
